About Daman
Founded in 1995, Daman (short for Data Management) started operations by focusing on application integration: building information architectures that allowed disparate corporate software programs to communicate with each other. At the time, Enterprise Resource Planning was growing in importance as corporations grappled with heterogeneous applications from various enterprise departments.
While delivering application integration solutions, Daman realized that much of the effort revolved around the integration of analytical and transactional applications. Consequently, the company, like any successful business, expanded its service offerings to address this opportunity and launched its data warehousing practice.
The strategy paid off. Daman quickly picked up such well-heeled clients as DaimlerChrysler, Pillsbury, SC Johnson, Compaq, Washington Mutual, plus eight of the top ten insurance companies in the world.
Information technology changes all the time, however, which means Daman must constantly evolve in order to best serve its Fortune 2000 client base. Daman addresses this business need through a variety of means, including the expansion of services. Over the years, Daman's service offerings have expanded to include enterprise portal implementations, closed-loop analysis, intelligent enterprise integration, and adaptive information architectures.
